Consider 2016 the year of peak selfies. While [Kim Kardashian West](http://time.com/4573660/kardashians-jenners-forbes-highest-earning-reality-stars-2016/) has always championed these particular form of self-photography ([she even published an entire book of them](http://time.com/3849456/kim-kardashians-selfish/),) [she effectively broke the Internet after posting a NSFW photo with a few artfully placed bars](http://time.com/4249385/kim-kardashian-nude-photo/) that was the talk of the web for weeks, spawning critics, supporters and endless conversations about double standards.

So it should come as no surprise that when it came to 2016’s top 10 most Googled selfies, searches for Kardashian West overwhelmingly topped the list. But Kardashian West wasn’t the only one whose selfies trended this year — she was joined by figures such as Usher and Katy Perry. The searches this year were also decidedly political. Justin Timberlake landed on the list at #6, no doubt in part thanks to a now-deleted post that documented him taking a questionable selfie from an early voting both, while president-elect Donald Trump also made the cut, despite his lack of true selfies, thanks to the high volume of searches for one from him. Even Sharon Osbourne made the list — [no doubt in part because of the nude selfie she Instagrammed in solidarity](https://www.instagram.com/p/BCvgCSFKHcH/?taken-by=sharonosbourne) with Kardashian West’s own controversial post.

Below, see the complete list of Google’s most-searched for selfie subjects of 2016 along with a selfie from this year (not necessarily the one people were curious about).

1.Kim Kardashian West

2\. Sharon Osbourne

3\. Usher

4\. Sebastian Stan

5\. Donald Trump

6\. Justin Timberlake

7\. Jared Leto

8\. Coco Austin

9\. James Franco

10\. Katy Perry
